Measures to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19
September 24, 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many aspects of our daily lives. What has not changed is MHA’s
commitment to a safe and welcoming environment for all of our residents. We are doing everything we can to
maintain friendly service for our residents while ensuring a sanitary and safe space for everyone.
What We're Doing:
Cleaning Measures
We have increased sanitation practices in all of our common areas. Common areas such as railings,
door handles, elevator buttons, and other high-use common areas are being sanitized with disinfectant at
least twice daily.
Common Areas
We have reduced access to most of our common areas, with laundry facilities remaining open in all
buildings and the gym and racquet ball court reopened in the Le Jardin building.
Following AHS recommendations and local bylaws, all MHA apartments require masks to be
worn in public areas. This includes elevators, hallways, lobbies, laundry facilities, etc.
Service Requests
Non-emergency service requests are being completed at this time. However, we ask that tenants keep out of the room that service is being completed while workers are in the premises.
Leasing Office Appointments
We are maintaining social distance in all of our offices for your safety and that of our staff. Phone calls and email correspondence are the
preferred method of communication; however, our offices are open by appointment-only when necessary.
We understand that this may disrupt your usual rent payment method; to allow for hassle-free payments, we encourage you to sign up for automatic withdrawals via
Resident Connect.
Please contact your leasing office if you need assistance signing up.
What You Can Do to Help?
Social distancing measures are the best way to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
Wear a mask in all public areas and ensure you maintain a six-foot separation from other people as well. Avoid unnecessary
touching of items in public areas, and continuously wash and sanitize your hands.
Refraining from large gatherings, mask wearing, and consistent
hand washing is the best way to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Thank you for your diligence.
We’re all in this together,
MHA
